Product Introduction

polyacrylamide

If you are facing problems such as fine fiber loss, turbid white water, rising costs, or unstable paper strength during the papermaking process,
our anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) can help you solve them quickly.

It is not only a papermaking dispersant, but also a solution for improving paper yield + reducing raw material loss + optimizing the water circulation system, helping you achieve a product system with lower cost and more stable quality. This papermaking retention aid has become the preferred product for many paper enterprises.

Product Overview

In papermaking production, anionic polyacrylamide (APAM), based on the principle of "like-charge repulsion" with fibers, becomes the preferred dispersant for improving fiber dispersion and enhancing paper uniformity and softness through mechanisms such as thickening, lubrication, and high-temperature degradation.

In contrast, cationic types, due to their "opposite-charge attraction" characteristics, mainly undertake the functions of retention aid, drainage aid, and strengthening.

Papermaking dispersants can prevent fiber agglomeration and improve paper uniformity. With low dosage, they can promote fiber dispersion, improve paper formation, enhance pulp uniformity and paper softness, and increase paper strength. As an efficient fiber dispersant, it is widely used in the production of toilet paper, napkins, facial tissues, and other tissue papers.

The product is manufactured in compliance with the ISO quality management system and has passed third-party testing, ensuring stable supply.

Product Advantages

Higher Paper Yield = Direct Cost Savings for Customers

Through the "adsorption bridging" effect of polymer chains, the retention rate of fine fibers and fillers is improved,
→ Reduce raw material loss
→ Lower cost per ton of paper

As a corrugated pulp fiber retention agent, this product shows significant performance in improving fiber utilization.

Cleaner White Water = Reduced System Burden

Optimize the white water circulation system and reduce suspended solids content,
→ Reduce equipment blockage
→ Lower maintenance costs
→ Improve production stability

Improved Paper Quality = Easier to Sell at Higher Prices

Improve paper uniformity and strength
→ More stable paper quality
→ Reduce customer complaints
→ Enhance competitiveness of end products

This white water recovery flocculant can effectively reduce white water concentration and realize water resource recycling.

Low Dosage = Higher Cost Performance

Due to optimized molecular structure, the unit dosage is lower
→ Reduce customer usage cost
→ Increase profit margin for buyers

Applications / Solutions

Typical Application Scenarios
  • Corrugated paper: Improve short fiber retention rate and reduce white water concentration
  • Cultural paper: Improve filler (calcium carbonate, talc powder) retention and enhance opacity
  • Testliner paper: Enhance drainage performance and increase machine speed
  • Specialty paper: Customize charge density to adapt to different pulp types
  • As a papermaking drainage aid, this product can significantly improve drainage performance in testliner paper production.

Product Process and Technical Strength

We adopt advanced polymerization processes and precisely control reaction temperature, time, and catalyst systems
to ensure the product has:

  • Uniform molecular weight distribution
  • Stable dissolution speed
  • Consistent flocculation performance

The full process includes:
Monomer control → Polymerization reaction → Granulation and drying → Crushing and screening → Automatic packaging

👉 Compared with ordinary manufacturers, we have more advantages in "molecular structure stability", which directly determines whether the customer's application effect is stable.

The molecular structure stability of anionic polyacrylamide is the key to its excellent performance.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: Will it cause paper yellowing or fading?

A: No. Our APAM is a colorless polymer and does not contain any chromophoric groups, so it will not affect paper whiteness or color.

Q2: How long can it be used? What is the shelf life?

A: Under unopened conditions, it can be stored for 24 months in a cool and dry place. After dissolution, it is recommended to use it within 48 hours.

Q3: Can molecular weight or charge density be customized?

A: Yes. We support customization of molecular weight from 15–25 million and charge density from 10%–35%. Samples can be provided within 3–5 working days.

Q4: How is after-sales handled?

A: For any quality issues, response within 24 hours and solutions or replacement within 72 hours.

Q5: What is the MOQ?

A: Regular order: 1 ton; sample: 200 g free (freight collect).

Q6: How long is the delivery time?

A: Regular orders: 7–10 days; customized products: 15–18 days.
