Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) is a functional polymer material that can absorb and retain hundreds or even thousands of times its own weight in water and is widely used in multiple fields. The following are its main application scopes:
1.Personal hygiene products
Baby diapers/pull-up pants: SAP is the core material, used to quickly absorb and lock in urine, keeping the skin dry.
Adult incontinence products: Provide aspiration protection for patients with mobility issues or incontinence.
Female sanitary napkins/pads: Efficiently absorb menstrual blood and enhance comfort.
2.Medical field
Medical dressings: Used for wound exudate management and promoting healing (such as hydrogel dressings).

Biocompatibility: Medical/hygiene products should use non-toxic and low-irritation SAP (such as sodium polyacrylate).
Degradability: Traditional SAP is difficult to degrade. In the environmental protection field, starch-based or cellulose-based degradable SAP is preferred.
Performance customization: Through chemical modification, the liquid absorption rate, salt resistance, etc. can be adjusted to adapt to different scenarios.
